About Star Warriors
Star Warriors were set up in 2007 to fill a niche within the costuming world created by the lack of general sci-fi costuming groups. We are a non-profit making, charity fund raising and theatrical costuming group based around the South of England and we were created for like minded individuals to enjoy science fiction costuming and raising money for worthwhile causes. We are not limited in the scope of sci-fi costumes within the group and members have costumes from many differing areas of the genre, ranging from Star Wars to Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Robocop, Ghostbusters and Stargate to name but a few. We are all volunteers - we don't get paid for what we do. We do it because of the wide ranging enjoyment we get from what we do and we encourage people of all skills and interests to join us. Star Warriors is an active costuming group and is not a chat forum, please bear in mind that if you join us you will need to attend events. However,
you don't need a costume to join us - some of our members assist us as crew at events without any interest in obtaining or wearing a costume. |
Very simply Star Warriors are all about having fun in costume while raising money for charitable causes.
