Star Warriors Events Booking

Subject to the availability of our members, and other engagements, Star Warriors are always happy to attend events at the invitation of both large and small organisations, charities, or corporate entities.

The booking process is simple - just complete the short form below and click submit. Please ensure that you read and agree to our terms and conditions of booking prior to making a booking.

Should your organisation wish us to attend an event where no charitable collecting is required we would request that a prior agreed charitable donation is made to a registered UK charity. Whilst the particular donation amount is up to the individual Star Warriors reserves the right to suggest the specific charity and a minimum donation amount.

We are happy for the press to attend the presentation of any donation if that is your wish.

Events Terms and Conditions

• Star Warriors do not charge a fee for attendance at any event.

• Our main focus is charitable fundraising and as such where the event is not in aid of a charity or charity collection is not in the interests of the event or events organisers we reserve the right to request a charitable donation for a charity of our choice. Further, Star Warriors reserves the right to suggest an appropriate charitable donation amount.

• Any charity collected for or donated to must be a recognised UK registered charity and must be approved by Star Warriors prior to our confirmation of an event booking.

• Star Warriors will not be held liable for any associated costs and expenses incurred by the event booker under any circumstances.

• Star Warriors are a volunteer organisation. As such, event bookings are dependent on the availability of our members. Any booking is provisional until confirmation of attendance is provided to the event booker by Star Warriors - this is usually two weeks prior to an event. If you intend on advertising our presence please let us know as soon as possible.

• Star Warriors reserve the right to cancel attendance of the group without notice should any of the terms and condition not be met, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, lack of available attendees or for any other reason. An out of hours contact number must be provided for this purpose.

• The event booker must notify Star Warriors in writing (e-mail will suffice) of the cancellation of an event in good time. Contact telephone numbers are available but not published on our website. These will be made available when the event booking is confirmed.

• Although event bookers can specify the type of costumes (i.e. Star Wars™) that they would like to attend a given event Star Warriors cannot warrant or guarantee the members or costumes that will attend a specific event.

• Our members are required to adhere to specific rules and guidance when attending an event to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, whether they be Star Warriors members or the general public. These rules are available on our web-site.

• The event booker must ensure that adequate and secure changing and rest facilities are available to members.

• Costs and expenses incurred to members for loss or damage to costumes, props, replicas etc through malicious or preventable means, accidental damage etc (this clause specifically excludes every day wear and tear) must be met by the booking organisation.

• Star Warriors are covered by an appropriate public liability insurance, but it is generally expected that the event booker would have their own public liability insurances in place that covers our attendance.
